Introduction and Ownership Change
We wish to inform you of a major update at Native Palm Animal Hospital.
After 40 years of dedicated service Dr. Joan McMindes has decided to retire, and the hospital is under new ownership.
We are pleased to introduce our new owners, Dr. Tonia Headrick and Mr. Kevin Bloss. Dr. Headrick has been a veterinarian for 24 years and has been working at Native Palm for the last few years with Dr. McMindes and the staff. Mr. Bloss has been in the Veterinary industry for 40 years and has a wealth of experience in providing value added services in making it easy to provide the best care possible. We will continue to deliver the compassionate, high-quality veterinary care that Dr. McMindes has provided for all these years.
Transition and Continuity of Care
We want to assure you that this transition will be seamless. All our dedicated staff that worked for Dr McMindes are here to continue to provide the same excellent care and attention to your beloved pets.
Dr Tonia Headrick and our new Associate Dr. Jose Araujo ensure Native Palm Animal Hospital's highest standard of care.
We are currently installing new technology such as digital dental x-ray and other equipment upgrades. Along with a new practice management system that will allow multiple lines of communication with you including email, text messaging, online appointment scheduling, and online access to your medical records. This will ensure that you are kept informed about the many value-added services we offer as well as the best quality medical care for your 4-legged family members.

We would like to acknowledge Dr. McMindes for having the vision of providing years of service and dedication in establishing her hospital in Jupiter Farms to serve our great community.
We wish Dr Joan McMindes all the best in her retirement, grateful for the legacy she leaves behind.
